General Information and Policies
Ways to Register
We ask that you please only register online here or contact Rob Fennell at [email protected].
Deadlines: Program registration usually closes two days prior to the event where the class is in-person, or the day before when online, space permitting. If registration is closed due to the class being full, we encourange contacting us to be added to the waiting list.
Refunds must be requested in writing and received at least two business days prior to the scheduled program (see more details below).
When registering for a class you will need to name the person(s) who will be attending. Only the named person(s) may attend, and this includes all classes both online or in-person. If you would like to change the attendee, please follow the instructions for registration cancellation below.
Payments and Invoices
All payments must be made in full at least two business days prior to the class. If you are unable to do so, please contact our main email address ([email protected]). Failure to pay in this timely fashion will make your organization ineligible to participate in or receive any further Nonprofit Center services. Checks or money orders should be payable to “The Nonprofit Center” but, for the security of your payment, we encourage paying by credit card or ACH.
Certificate Discount Packages
A package price has been created for each of our Certificates, to provide additional savings to students who wish to plan and schedule their educational experience. Only members (at any level) are eligible for this discounted package price and you must register and pay for all classes at once. Credits will be issued for cancellations.
Registration Cancellation
Refunds will be given only when requested in writing to The Nonprofit Center at least two business days prior to the class.* All refunds will be charged a $10 processing fee, which will be deducted from the refund. Unless otherwise requested, credits will be issued for all cancellations.
If you cancel before 48 hours prior to the class you may send another participant from your organization or receive a credit. If you cancel fewer than 48 hours prior, or fail to attend, you will be considered a “no show” and are responsible for payment, since we have held space for you at our expense. If you cancel your participation in more than two programs in an academic year, we reserve the right to issue a credit in lieu of a refund.
*For participants in an evening class: Each evening class is broken into 3 parts. If you cannot attend one or more of the parts, you must submit a written request as outlined above for the entire 3-part series 48 hours prior to the first date. If you are part of a Certificate program, attendance at all 3 parts of any class is mandatory in order to receive your certification.
