Neil Batiancila
Neil Batiancila currently serves as Philadelphia Zoo’s Chief Development Officer – the first in the history of America’s First Zoo. In this role, Neil oversees all charitable activity, including annual and campaign fundraising operations. Prior to joining the zoo, he served as executive director, campaign operations at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia Foundation where he led efforts for a multi-year, multi-faceted $1 billion comprehensive campaign, the most ambitious in its history. He previously served as the foundation’s director of corporate & foundation relations where he managed all aspects of their corporate and foundation giving program. Earlier positions include director of Community Relations at Aramark and 10 years at City Year, Inc., where he served as co-executive director of the Philadelphia site. He has 20 years of experience working with corporate philanthropy and continues a long-time commitment to serving communities throughout Philadelphia. Neil earned his BA in Political Science at the University of Pennsylvania and MBA at the Fox School of Business at Temple University.
