About Roslyn Schaffer (She/Her/Hers)
Roslyn H. Schaffer is a consultant in Human Resources who applies her experience leading the HR function in nonprofit and for profit companies to provide guidance to organizations throughout the Delaware Valley. Most recently, she was the Chief Human Resources Officer at Delta Community Supports, a nonprofit providing support to individuals with intellectual disabilities and their families as well as services in foster care and adoption. Roz has spent more than two decades leading the HR function at some of the region’s most preeminent nonprofit organizations, including the Barnes Foundation and the Renfrew Center and Resources for Human Development. Her expertise covers such areas as performance management, leadership development, HR policies, employee relations, diversity, staff coaching and mentoring, consensus building, change management, strategic benefits and compensation, and organizational development. She earned a BS at Cornell, an MSW at the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA at Drexel University. Roz is a certified HR professional with the SPHR and SHRM-SCP designations and serves as the VP of Legislative Affairs for the Southeastern PA Society of Human Resource Management chapter.
