Miranda Cohen
About Miranda Cohen (She/Her)
Miranda Cohen is a nonprofit consultant focused on feminist leadership and organizational dynamics. She brings experience in strategic planning, organizational assessment, data analysis and visualization, intercultural understanding, program development, coalition building, board cultivation, and diversity and inclusion training and consulting. She is passionate about the role of leadership development and resource generation for organizational populations that are often disenfranchised and under-engaged, and applies equity, sustainability, and trauma-informed practices to her work with organizations and communities. Miranda has 10+ years of experience in the NGO/non-profit sector and has lived and worked in the United States, China, Zambia, and North Macedonia. In addition to her consulting work, Miranda co-founded and serves as Board Chair of I Am a Girl, a Uganda-based nonprofit organization that is locally led and focused on menstrual health, mental health, and economic empowerment for women in rural communities with limited access. Miranda holds a BA in Organizational Leadership from Temple University, and an MS in Nonprofit Management and a certificate in Organizational Change Management from The New School University
