Panel Discussions

Each year we bring together leaders in corporate and foundation philanthropy to get up close and personal, sharing valuable insights that will help you enhance your funding requests at our popular Grantmakers panels.  This year, we are expanding on the panel discussion format with a total of three programs:

In 2007-2008, our Panel Discussions will include:

  • How to Prepare for a Winning Site Visit
  • Meet the Funders

And coming May 9, 2008:  The Nonprofit’s Guide to Web 2.0

Web 2.0 is more than piano-playing cats, how many friends you have on MySpace and Hannah Montana podcasts.  As unlikely as it may seem, these tools represent some of today’s Internet marketing vehicles that could be used to propel your organization forward.

Among the topics our panelists will explore:
            -Search Engine Optimization
            -Blogging
            -Social Networking
            -Using Video on your website
-Maximizing your use of email (an oldie, but still a goodie)

If you want help sorting out the potential among all the hype and confusion, we’ve put together a team of experts to guide you in mapping a strategy to use the Internet as a marketing tool for your nonprofit.

Members
of The Nonprofit Center are invited to attend two panels annually at no cost.  Non-Members pay $29 per session.
